I want to love it. I want to give 5 stars. But the Carmen dress is just not what I imagined. I tend to go for an XL in Rachel size clothing, but this dress didn't just not fit my XL size body. The dress material itself is actually quite stiff and doesn't have any give to it. Pulling the wrap closed to tie was a bit difficult and unfortunately there isn't a lot of material to wrap in the first place, so there's not a lot of extra space if you have a bit of a belly. In the picture it looks a bit flowy but in real life it lays quite flat not very forgiving. I also don't think the dress makers thought about how the v-neck would tie around the bust on a XL size body. It definitely doesn't tie nicely over a fuller bust and end up looking very booby. Don't get me wrong. The color is beautiful. The material is so lovely, such good quality. And the style itself is wonderful, the little ruffles at the bottom so gorgeous. But the extra large doesn't fit an extra large body.

This dress fits tight in the shoulders but large in the bust. Best for someone with a tiny frame and large chest.
